Designed for:
The J2 Recline Cushion was designed to help reduce the risk of "bottoming out" and help protect the skin when:
. accommodating slouching or sacral sitting position
. accommodating a fixed orthopaedic deformity
. sliding or scooting back on to the cushion during transfer
. assisting when positioning (pulling the hips back) from behind the
wheelchair
. using a manual or power tilt or recline wheelchair
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It reduces the movement of the Jay Flow Fluid to the rear of the fluid pad. This helps prevent bottoming out against the front wall of the cushion.
LOW SHEAR
Fluid moves with the individual reducing shearing.
LOW MAINTENANCE
The fluid pad requires no regular maintenance or adjustment other than periodic cleaning and inspection.
. All Jay Box Accessories as well as Jay covers and solid seats fit the cushion.
. Base can be modified.
