National Respite is the peak body representing respite support providers for people with disabilities and the frail aged across NSW and Australia. They provide strategic advocacy, research, support and business consultancy services to members throughout NSW, the ACT and across Australia. National Respite represents services and carers' concerns to state and federal governments.

National Respite Associations role is to support these organisations in delivering quality services to their families and clients. We do this by providing members with a range of services designed to expose them to the latest information and developments in the respite care and social support sector. We also offer a range of networking and specialised training opportunities for agency staff and volunteers.
The Association provides
* Individual support, consultation, and advocacy to agency members on issues affecting their service delivery and service management.
* On-line webinars, forums, and meetings.
* Delivery and coordination of training and professional development, including tailored training to your service's individual needs.
* Research and representation at a state and national level for all members on issues relating to respite care and social support.
* Information dissemination.
* State and national conferences
* Resource development and support
Membership eligibility
* Any organisation who is providing respite care, social support, or centre based day care services to families/carers who have a member with a disability or is frail aged.
