Brain Injury Australia (formerly known as Head Injury Council of Australia Inc) is a national peak disability organisation representing, through its state affiliated bodies, the interests of people with acquired brain injury. The aims of the council are to assist all Australians living with acquired brain injury to have equal participation within the community, to achieve optimum quality of life and to increase community awareness and understanding.
