A soft mattress overlay which has a polycotton upper surface and waterproof underside. It is filled with silicone coated polyester fibres and quilted in channels across the pad. Suitable for people who require more comfort and are at low risk of developing a pressure sore. Single bed size.

Structure
* Made of millions of silicone coated cylindrical hollow cored fibres
* They are designed to provide some pressure relief while the silicone coating acts as a lubricant to eliminate friction and reduce shear forces
* The silicone coating also prevents the fibres from absorbing perspiration or urine
Attachment
* Retention straps on all four corners keep the overlay in place
Cover
* Integral cover: the overlay is reversible with one side of cotton polyester (synthetic) and the other side of waterproof polyurethane (for people with incontinence)
* Optional Incontinence Covers to extend the life of the overlay
Cleaning
* The overlay is washable and reusable
* Can be laundered in an healthcare facility system and dried in a commercial dryer
