EASTIN (European Assistive Technology Information Network) is a web site of assistive technology in Europe. Six European information providers have "partnered" to present their assistive technology (AT) products and services via this one website. Information is provided in different languages.

The Eastin network provides a trans national information platform. It provides a web tool to find products, services, regulations and good practices, and is useful for older people and people with special needs and their carers, the healthcare professionals and the AT industry.

Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus, Milano Italy
This is the largest private non profit organisation in the field of rehabilitation in Italy. Currently it runs 24 medical and social rehabilitation centres, providing medical, social and vocational rehabilitation to individuals of all ages with a variety of physical, sensory and mental disabilities. The SIVA Department (Assistive Technology Research and Information Service) has a main focus on technologies for independent living, social integration and quality of life of disabled persons.

REHADAT
Institute der Deutschen Wirtschaft Kln, Germany
A private non profit organisation whose membership consists of industrial and employers associations.
REHADAT web site is the German national information system supporting the vocational integration of people with disabilities. Detailed information about various aspects of vocational rehabilitation is available from ten databases designed for use by people with disabilities as well as by professionals involved in rehabilitation.

HMI-BASEN
Danish Centre for Technical Aids for Rehabilitation and Education
This is a nation wide information and resource centre aiming at contributing to integration and equal opportunities for disabled people in society, especially in the field of rehabilitation, assistive technology and special education. The Centre offers information about assistive technology, working methods, educational materials, research and development. The database contains information on more than 27,000 products of which approximately 16,000 are currently available on Danish market. Danish supplier information is included.

DLF-DATA
The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is a UK organisation specialising in equipment advice and information on all disability products.
DLF Data is available in three formats including the internet through the DLF web site. It supports a Call Centre that operates a telephone helpline.

CEAPAT (Spain)
Centro Estatal de Autonomia Personal y Ayudas Tcnicas
The National Centre for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (CEAPAT) is a technical centre within IMSERSO (an agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs). CEAPAT's Mission is to contribute to improve the quality of life of all citizens, with special support to people with disabilities and older people through accessibility, design for all and assistive technology.

The CEAPAT data base on assistive technologies includes information on products, their technical characteristics and their manufacturers / suppliers.

IRV (Netherlands)
Stichting Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Revalidatie
iRv is a centre for rehabilitation studies in the Netherlands. Its core activities are: applied research and information dissemination. The iRv mission is to contribute to improving interventions, health and social services and assistive technology for people with long term functional impairments.

The Hulpmiddelen Wijzer System is a subscriber only system that provides an interactive user interface with search facilities on assistive technology products, user problems, manufacturers / suppliers, legislation and literature. The system also has a virtual showroom with visualisations of the AT in the system.
