Frame
All steel is pre rust proofed and enameled with high quality epoxy powder coating (covered by 15 year warranty)

Headboard/Footboard
Laminated or vinyl wrap (for high ingress protection) MDF Board is used on removable head and foot panels. Other timbers and materials also available.

Adjustments
Electrical adjustment of head rest , backrest angle, leg rest angle, knee break, Trendelenburg tilting, height adjustable

Note:
- legrest raise: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated parallel to the bed frame
- Knee break: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area so the legs below the knee are angled downwards (triangular configuration)
- Trendelenburg Tilt: allows the entire bed to tilt so a person's feet can be higher than their head. Reverse Trendelenburg tilts the bed in the opposite direction.

Controls
All primary functions such as Hi low, Trendelenburg tilt, elevating head rest and elevating knee break. Are all achieved electrically by pushing the appropriate button located on the remote hand set.

Mattresses
Jomor makes 148 different types of mattresses from materials such as innersprings, latex rubber, high and low density foams of a variety of resiliences.

Castors
Castors are available in a variety of sizes, With or without braking or track - lock, as well as central locking.

Bed rails
A range of side rails providing horizontal and vertical rail protection.

Safety Features
Electric actuators have anti - jam mechanisms (preventing limbs from being crushed beneath moving panels.)

Customised Features
Head and foot panels and table tops can be customised

Power Source
240 Volt and 24 volt battery back-up power sources are available.

Motor
All motors and electrics are supplied by Dewert with service and spares readily available

Massage Pads
Variable massage pads can be ordered and built into mattresses. A range of configurations and quantities is available

Dismantling
Most Jomor beds are engineered to last and although they can be dismantled if required it is recommended that this is carried out by a trained person

Factors To Consider

In certain circumstances there is an element of risk involved in the use of a bed pole or bed rail. All users require an initial risk assessment. A risk assessment should be undertaken in each circumstance of use. The Bed Pole or Bed rail should not be used in circumstances where there is a gap between the vertical components and the mattress. Users most at risk would include: those with physical limitations, cognitive impairment or a combination of both, or where the intended user's faculties are comprised by medication. Users should have the risk assessed prior to the prescription of a bed rail or bed pole.

Regular monitoring is recommended particularly where the condition is changing.
