A cone shaped stocking slider to assist with putting on tight fitting open toe compression stockings. It is made from strong, slippery fabric.
To use:
1. Make sure stocking slider is tucked inside itself (to form a cone shape) with the webbing loop exposed on the outside.
2. Insert foot, ankle and shin (or arm) into the stocking slider.
3. Slide the compression stocking over the stocking slider.
4. When the stocking is in place, grip the webbing loop with your hand and pull the stocking slider away from the foot until completely removed.

The stocking slider is used to assist the patient/carer to put on tight fitting open-toe compression stockings and can be used on the arms or legs. The use of this product helps to prevent tearing of the patient's skin and protect existing skin lesions.
It is made from a strong and slippery nylon with a webbed loop at one end to help remove the stocking sliders from under the bandage.
