A fixed ceiling hoist with battery powered vertical and horizontal movement using a hand held control. It remains fixed to overhead straight tracking or a gantry. Tracking
This particular ceiling hoist can be used with either fixed tracking, non- permanent tracking systems [Easy Track], or a gantry
* The fixed tracking has numerous straight sections and curved sections (45 and 90 degrees) available
* The Easy Track is available in two, three, and four post systems.
There are various tracking options available
* X-Y Transverse System - to improve room coverage and allow movement in different directional planes
* Exchanger - allows movement between different tracks
* Turntable - a small unit that allows the hoist to move in more than one direction
* Cathedral Ceiling Brackets - allows the tracking to be installed onto a sloped ceiling
* Wall Post Mount - an alternative to ceiling mount

Spreader Bar
* The standard spreader bar features four- points for sling attachment with a safety gate at each point to prevent the sling from accidentally unhooking
* The design provides a wide opening, thus allowing the individual to be lifted in a more comfortable position

The full range of Arjo bariatric slings are available for use with the specifically wide designed four- point spreader bar
Controls
* Electrically operated, hand held push button control on an extendible cord
* Four push buttons indicate the direction of movement and one push button is used to automatically return the hoist to the charging position.
* Speed of vertical and horizontal movement can be programmed
* The hand held control is a narrow, rectangular shape with a hook at the end
* There are also dual controls on the front of the lift cassette.
Power
* The cassette is operated by two 7 Ah batteries
* There is an in-built battery charger that charges when the hoist is parked at the clip - on charging station, which can be positioned anywhere on the track
* A button on the hand control automatically sends the hoist to its point to recharge

Batteries
2 x 7 Ah batteries will average 80 transfers with a load of 230kg, and up to 25 transfers with a load of 450kg.
Safety
Safety features include
* Manually operated emergency lowering device
* Emergency stopping feature in case of mechanical failure
* Electrical up and down emergency buttons
* A Current Limiter prevents the lift use if the battery is low
* Ensure that the sling attachments are compatible with the hoist spreader bar
* The component parts of folding and dismantling hoists may still be too heavy to lift safely - check the weights
* It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken
