This battery operated power seat base is designed for installation underneath the driver seat of a wheelchair user who is driving the van him or herself. All adjustments (seat height, 90 degree swivel, back and forth) are electrically operated via one of three switches positioned at the side of the seat.
Ricon manufactures a full range of automatic wheelchair hoists for lifting a person in a wheelchair in and out of a van or bus. All lifts can be installed either internally or externally under the floor of the vehicle. Depending on the layout of the van the lift can be fitted at the side or rear.
A height and angle adjustable head restraint which attaches to the handles of a wheelchair to provide added head support and comfort.
A 4 point webbing, wheelchair restraint system that connects and locks into alloy rails attached to the vehicle floor with quick release press buckles for emergency release. The restraints can be easily removed when not in use or relocated for alternative seating arrangements. The system offers a choice of either a lap belt or a double inertia lap sash harness for the effective restraint of the wheelchair occupant, which attaches directly to the floor rails.
