Job Centre is an employment service specialising in the placement and support of persons with a disability; who need short to medium term assistance in finding and maintaining a job in open employment at award rates of pay. Their objective is to help their clients find employment, learn the job, and provide one-on-one onsite support as well as ongoing assistance so they keep the job.
Job Centre has
* Small caseloads
* Staff trained in Disability Awareness, Mental Health First Aid, Mentoring, Case Management and Workplace Training and Assessment
* A supportive environment
* Assessment tools to develop individual employment plans
* A unique flexible service delivery model
*Job Hives in each of their offices designed to maximise the client's job searching capabilities
* A number of innovative programs designed to meet the client's individual needs
They provide the following programs:
MISS Workshops
* A free eight week workshop which is aimed at encouraging women to build self esteem and motivation by identifying personal qualities and skills.
MATES Workshops
* A free seven week workshop which is aimed at encouraging men to build self esteem and motivation by identifying personal qualities and skills.
JobFit
* A six week exercise program to encourage health and fitness. It is run by fully qualified personal trainers.

* Workshops to encourage positive thought patterns and goal setting.

* One on one individual employment pathway coaching
* Ongoing assessment through individual Job Hive modules
* Resume writing
* Cover Letter writing
* Application letters
* Communication skills
* Motivational workshops
* Career coaching
* Work experience
* Intensive one on one and group job seeking workshops
* Skills audit
* Employer Wage Subsidies, access to supported wages and workplace modifications to assist in sustaining on-going employment (subject to eligibility)
* Assistance financially with travel fares to interviews, interview clothing and work clothing (subject to eligibility)
* Post placement support (PPS)
* Access to the Disabled Apprenticeship Wage Scheme
* Access to Indigenous Wage Assistance
