CUSHION
* Made from flame retardant Dimplefoam which is washable. Treated to make it allergy and dust free and odourless. Can be cut to fit smaller chairs.

COVER
* Made from corduroy fabric in beige or grey with zippered opening for easy removal. Also available in removable bacteria resistant hospital approved, waterproof soft white nylon cover. Additional cord or nylon overcovers are available.
A bacteria resistant waterproof cover is also available.

SUITABLE for use in a wheelchair or other chairs or as a kneeling pad. Assists in relieving pressure when a person is sitting for extended periods. Permits some circulation of air due to convolutions.

Considerations

All cushions must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct choice and depth of foam, correct inflation level) , a different product may need to be considered.
