This association provides guidance and information to expectant
mothers and mothers with babies, regarding breast feeding and child care.

Services include:
* Group meetings and discussions and organised locally held in member's home and conducted by group leaders. All mothers welcome to participate. Check with local group if access for mothers who are disabled is possible
* Breast Feeding Helpline - telephone counselling service for nursing mothers available 24 hours a day (after 10pm if urgent)
* Library literature and other information - have a range of information on many aspects of breast feeding and child care, which can be purchased from association or borrowed from local group. Audio visual material also available for hire
* A regular magazine is sent to members
* Research department
* Community Education - trained members talk to ante and post natal mothers, childbirth education, classes, and any other interested groups
