Short Description

Alzheimer's Association NSW is the headquarters for statewide services as well as being a resource centre for people with dementia, their carers and anyone with an interest in dementia. A helpline offers information and referrals to health and community services.

* Professional staff and trained volunteers provide information and emotional support through counselling and support groups.
* There is a dementia library and centre tours are offered to view the dementia design features. A family visiting area and garden have been specially designed for use by people with dementia.

Statewide services coordinated from the centre include:
* Helpline
* NSW Information and Counselling Service.
* Coordinates over 130 carer support groups.
* Education and training programs held throughout NSW.
