This organisation has a mission to obtain, train and maintain dogs in the community settings to assist people with physical disabilities achieve a greater level of independence.

More Details
* The dogs are trained from when they are puppies to assist people with disabilities do a number of tasks for which they would otherwise require assistance from a carer.
* The dogs are trained to eg. pick up dropped items, open doors, turn on lights etc.
* ADFI provides the dogs free of charge to the recipients. The organisation is supported by donors and volunteers.
