. The blade is stainless steel and the handle is made from red wood
. The knife can be used to prepare all types of food - meats, vegetables, fruit etc.
. The curved blade allows a rocking action to be used to make the initial cut into the food before slicing through, or to continue to slice and dice.
. The handle is shaped to sit comfortably in either hand and assist with grasp. It is centred above the blade which provides control and power when slicing.
. The curved blade and balance of the knife makes it especially useful for one handed use.
