A small plastic platform with an attached rubber ferrule that fits to the end of a walking stick creating four contact points with the ground. It comes with a 16mm diameter hole for adjustable height metal walking sticks and a 19mm for most wooden sticks.
It provides more stability on wet or uneven surfaces and enables the stick to stand up on its own when necessary. In addition, should the stick be lying flat on the ground, it can by retrieved by a person placing their foot on the base plate and tilting the stick back to an upright position.
