FRAME This scooter has fibreglass cowlings, protection strip around the front of the base and a slip resistant carpet matting on the footwell. The footwell angles upwards on either side of the tiller. There is a basket on the front of the tiller and under the front of the seat.
. The tiller angle is adjustable to 5 positions by using a lever at the base of the tiller.
SEAT The seat is a contoured style and upholstered, it is height adjustable, has a fold down back rest, lift up and width / angle adjustable armrests. The seat swivels by lifting a lever located on the right side, under the seat. Seat height is adjustable by releasing the seat swivel lever and turning the seat to a non locked position and lifting it off. Then removing the pin and large grip screw located in the seat post. Seat height is changed and seat replaced. A sliding seat mechanism, activated by turning a lever under the front of the seat, allows the driver to alter seat position while seated.
TRANSPORTING the scooter is facilitated by, removing the seat and batteries, folding down the tiller, pulling out the connector pin from main frame and separating front section from rear section.
FREEWHEELING mechanism is operated by a lever situated under the rear cowling next to the left wheel.
BATTERY CHARGING is achieved by connecting the charger provided to a mains power point and plugging it into the scooter at the marked charging terminal on the top left of the tiller.
BATTERIES two 28 Amp batteries are stored in separate fibreglass boxes under the seat, held in place with webbing straps.
REAR WHEEL is 260mm(10") diameter, pneumatic.
FRONT WHEEL is 260mm(10") diameter, pneumatic.
FOOTSPACE slopes slightly, with room either side of the tiller to accommodate the feet - covered with slip resistant matting.

Registration requirements
In NSW, motorised wheelchairs that weigh less than 110 kg and cannot travel at more than 10 km/h do not have to be registered, provided they are being used by a person with mobility problems. A person driving a motorised wheelchair under these circumstances is defined as a pedestrian under the Australian Road Rules and is permitted to travel on a footpath or nature strip adjacent to the road.
Vehicles exempt from registration are covered by the nominal defendant scheme (administered by the Motor Accidents Authority) if they are at fault in an accident in NSW on a road or road-related area and cause injury to another person. However, this cover is only valid in NSW.
