At Care Centres, HomeFree performs real time, wireless monitoring of residents in various types of facilities and their surroundings. The system divides the premises into virtual, user defined areas for an indication of the residents location.

Wireless Wandering Systems
* Active, continuous monitoring
* Real time indication of residents' location by areas
* Automatic alerts upon residents leaving or entering pre-defined areas

Personal Watcher
* A uniquely designed wristwatch worn by the residents. It continuously sends a silent signal to the Wireless Monitoring Base Unit to alert staff to the resident's location.
When a resident, wearing the Personal Watcher, leaves or enters a restricted area or approaches designated exits, the system automatically alerts staff members by pager.
* Similar alerts are activated by the use of a nurse call pendant, pull cord or removal of the Personal Watcher. Each pager alert gives the staff members a clear text indication of the resident's identity, type of event and last area location.

HomeFree systems are wireless and easy to install. HomeFree wall mounted Wireless Monitoring Units enable monitoring of facilities of various shapes and sizes including porches and outdoor areas.

The HomeFree system can be easily integrated with other communication systems such as hard wired Nurse Call and paging systems.
