The vest is equipped with a 3 point connection with push button release. It has pelvic support strap, arm securements, shoulder harness straps and a crotch strap. It fits most vehicles and must be used with the standard vehicle lap / sash seat belt. It is available in two sizes 9 -27 kg and 27 kg and over. It features bright colours.

The Q-Vest by Q'straint has been designed with technical assistance from occupational and physiotherapists, school bus drivers, supervisors, and other experts in special needs transportation. Used in conjunction with the standard occupant restraint (lap-sash seat belt), the Q-Vest provides additional support to a person with a disability who can sit on the regular car seat.

Features of the Q-Vest include:
