This Australian designed and made product offers protection to those people who are at risk of undoing seat belt buckle accidentally in the car.
Made of clear plastic, this guard complies with the Australian and New Zealand Standard 4370:1996.
The Seat Belt Buckle Guard is released by pulling gently on the seat belt strap as you push a key through the slot in the buckle guard to press the release button. Do not try to hold the buckle guard while you insert the key, or it may jam. It is not designed to take pressure.
*In an emergency, it is recommended that the seat belt be cut.
*Since the buckle has effectively been "modified", it is required by law that a medical certificate from a medical practitioner, and a proper prescription form, be completed before the guard can be supplied. Ask the supplier for the appropriate documents before ordering.
