A retractable spring arm that allows increased reach of a standard length shower hose. The chrome plated brass arm swivels on a pivoting joint allowing a carer access to all sides of a client. The retractable stainless steel compression spring component of the arm ensures an air gap is maintained which reduces cross contamination due to backflow. Length can be customised.
One model is available
. Designed to solve many of the problems encountered when showering immobile persons to make the experience faster, safer and more comfortable.
. Can be retrofitted to an existing shower.
. Saves time and water.
. Avoids dragging the shower hose across the person's body. This is due to the extra hose length and the fact that the hose can be positioned in front of the person.
. If the shower head is dropped, the spring arm retracts so the head doesn't hit the floor.
. The retractable arm ensures an air gap is maintained, and hence reduces the risk of cross contamination due to back flow.
. Suits all shower cubicles
. Ensures a more thorough clean of the person, as the greater reach achieved from the retractable spring arm allows access to all sides of the person.
. It is made to fit a standard 900mm cubicle but can be made longer if required.
