Short Description
This cushion is composed of two layers of specially designed foam which provides comfort. The cover is removable and washable and has a slip resistant underside. There are two sizes for a wheelchair and a larger size for an armchair.

Construction
Abena Cushions are composed of two layers of specially designed foam.
- The top pink layer "Celcius" is composed of a dense open cell, high stability foam which moulds to the persons body in response to heat and in doing so disperses the pressure.
- The second white layer of specialised viscoelastic foam "Waterlily" is made up of thousands of small cells allowing air to circulate and help regulate body temperature in hot, humid climates.
The cushions are flame retardant.
Cover
The techmaflex cover is made of a polyurethane coated polyester and features:
- Soft, steam permeable material which regulates heat and humidity
- Resistance to dust mites, bacteria and liquid (although seams are not sealed so there could possibly be some seepage through the seams)
- Anti static and slip resistant underside
- Waterfall (curved) front edge
- Washable at 95 degrees celcius
- Covered zipper for ease of removal for washing
Maintenance
Cleaning
*Wash the cover at a maximum 95 degrees C and tumble dry on low. The cushions are NOT washable. Clean the cover with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Never use alcohol / spirit on the cushion covers.
