A lightweight height adjustable aluminium cane that projects a battery operated bright red line across the user's path. The laser beam is an obstacle free visual cue, which can enable people with Parkinson's disease or similar conditions, to break "freezing" episodes and increase stride length. The laser light appears when the user presses down on the cane and disappears when they lift it. The laser is powered by two AA batteries.
