Short Description
Battery powered aircraft passenger hoists for passengers requiring full assistance. Designed to transfer passengers to and from wheelchairs. Eagle 1 transfers passengers from their wheelchair to an airport wheelchair. Eagle 2 transfers passengers inside large aircraft. Eagle 3 is used for transfers outside smaller commuter aircraft. Load capacity is 200kg.
Options
* Electric extension for longer seats
* Electric leg extension for stability in the wheelchair transfer position
Models
Eagle 1
* This is a modified hospital hoist for use with Eagle slings.
* It is designed for transferring passengers from their wheelchair to an airport wheelchair soon after they have checked in. This gives handling staff sufficient time to take the passenger's wheelchair down for loading (if required)
* The passenger (with sling) is then wheeled to the bottom of the aerobridge (jetway) ready for the Eagle 2 or 3 transfer to their aircraft seat
Eagle 2
Designed to transfer passengers to and from wheelchairs and starboard side aisle seats. For use on B717 and larger Boeing and Airbus aircraft
Eagle 3
The Eagle 3 has all of the operating functions of the Eagle2, but is designed for use with commuter aircraft. Commuter aircraft don't have enough space to perform the lift from the wheelchair so this is done outside of the aircraft. The Eagle 3 with passenger is then lifted to the aircraft with a suitable lift (DPL- Disabled Passenger Lift).
