Kinesis Savant Elite Triple Action Foot Switch

Overview

Short Description

The Savant Elite Triple Action Foot Switch has 3 foot pedals preprogrammed to allow foot operation of left, middle and right mouse button actions. These switches can be reprogrammed to perform keyboard actions or keyboard combinations. The unit connects via a USB cable.

Method Of Use

Modes
* The device has two modes, that is, Play Mode (which is the default setting) or Program Mode
* A slide switch on the base of the device is used to switch between modes
* In the default functions the user can move any mouse option with their hand and perform mouse button actions with their feet

Programmable functions
* Press pedals to perform single key actions
* Press pedals to perform key combinations or sequences (macros). Each pedal is reported to hold up to 750 keystrokes, however the total for the three pedals is approximately 1200 keystrokes.

Programming
* Before programming the Savant Elite Foot Switch, users are advised to set their keyboard repeat rate to a slow setting and their repeat delay to a long setting to avoid accidentally entering multiple actions with a single button activation
* The unit must be connected to a computer onto which the driver software has been loaded
* The slide switch must be moved to the Program Mode position
* Before customising the device, the driver must be installed and the unit tested in Play Mode
