Accessible automatic teller machines with speech syntheses, large touch screens, audio, accessible height and special keyboard design. These are available nationally. Locations are given on the Westpac website.
Method Of Use
* Talking ATMs give clear verbal instructions to help the user through their banking transactions, and give them confirmation of their selections at each step
* A step by step guide to using the ATMs can be downloaded from the Westpac website
* Use any standard 3.5mm earpiece to listen to the instructions.
The tactile labelling at the ATM can assist with
* Plugging in their earpiece
* Inserting their card
* Getting cash and receipt

* These ATMs are located throughout Australia.
* ATMs offer voice assisted cash withdrawal and balance inquiry capability which is easily navigated using the numeric keypad
* The ATMs are compatible with standard 3.5mm earphones. Otherwise Westpac will provide a free audio earpiece, to keep for future use, from any branch with an Access Friendly ATM
