Cycling New South Wales is the governing body for cycling competition in New South Wales. It is affiliated with the national body, Cycling Australia. Opportunities are provided for people of all ages and abilities to become members through their extensive affiliated club network for both recreational and competitive purposes. Dragon Boat racing is a unique water sport. It is sport that attracts a broad demographic of members with varying cultural and occupational backgrounds as well as varying degrees of age, fitness and physical capabilities. Dragon Boats NSW (DBNSW) is the governing body for dragon boating in New South Wales and a member of the Australian Dragon Boat Federation (AusDBF).

The Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme is available to any young person between the ages of 14-25 years. There are three standards of awards, bronze, silver and gold, and each contains sections including service, skills, expedition and physical recreation.

Empower Golf Australia aims to facilitate and promote golf for Australians of all abilities. They operate through national hubs organising development days and tournaments.

Extension Guiding is for girls who have physical or intellectual disability and who cannot enjoy guiding in an "active" unit. Brownies, Guides, Ranger Guides and Rangers. Endeavours are made to incorporate these girls into ordinary units where possible. Activities include camping (under canvas where possible), hobbies, interests, visits, service, friendship.
