The Horticultural Therapy Society promotes the use of horticulture as recreation, rehabilitation or therapy for people who are disabled or elderly, by providing a range of practical services, workshops, seminars and demonstrations. Horticultural Therapy Society runs classes for gardening.

The Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre offers a range of structured programs for different groups. Although there are no specific programs, the Centre caters for people with a disability and will plan programs in consultation with prospective clients so that specific outcomes are met.

Raleigh International Raceway is a kart racing circuit approximately 20kms south of Coffs Harbour. They cater for groups of 10 to 200 people and have available double karts for use by people with a disability if required. All amenities including a campsite are wheelchair accessible. Any person who has lost the use of their hands and paints using the mouth or foot to hold the brush, has the potential to become member of MFPA. This international organisation gives people who are disabled the opportunity to become financially independent, while at the same time offering creative fulfilment. All artist's work should be of a standard that enables them to be exhibited alongside the work of artists who are able bodied.

'Museum In A Box' is a service available for those who cannot visit the museum and provides a resource for individuals and groups to enjoy. There are 22 Box titles to choose from. Each Box is a treasure trove of real specimens and artifacts. Boxes may also include dioramas, photographs, video and audio tapes, games, charts, overhead transparencies and computer software. Teaching notes provide background information and suggestions for fun class activities.

Their database - My Community Directory - has information on recreation, tourism, sport and the arts for people with disability for all of Australia.

Members of Transplant Australia compete in the National Transplant Games which are held every two years. Members compete in athletics, badminton, cycling, lawn bowls, road racing, pool, squash, swimming, table tennis, ten pin bowling, tennis and volley ball.
