The Australian Powerchair Hockey Association is committed to providing resources for athletes with a physical disability to play hockey in powered wheelchairs. The APCHA promotes the sport to all ages, disability or gender. The Association has a local competition in Sydney, with interest being shown in the North and South West Regions.It has recently expanded to Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia to form a strong national competition.

The Tuesday Night Club (TNC) Inc. is a community based organisation promoting recreation and leisure opportunities for people with an Intellectual Disability living in the Blacktown LGA. The program is based at First Ave, Blacktown. Newsletters are published monthly for Members.

NSW VIBBA encourages, plans and promotes lawn bowls for people in NSW with a vision impairment or who are blind. All lawn bowls clubs can include people with vision impairment. Bowlers play a standard game using regular bowls with the assistance of a one-on-one helper enabling the bowler to visualise the play. Play can be recreational or competitive to international level.

Wheelchair Rugby League Australia (WRLA) is a variation of Rugby League that allows athletes with disabilities to compete with and against able-bodied people. The sport is governed by the board of Wheelchair Rugby League Australia and is affiliated with the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC). WRLA introduced seasonal competition from 2010 which built awareness at all levels of the game including referees, players, coaches and administration of the sport and provide opportunities for athletes with disabilities within the league.

Wheelies with Wings is a not for profit organisation, providing people with disabilities the experience and freedom to fly. They offer flying scholarships for the disabled and they run a two week Learn to Fly course at Temora airport NSW.
