Hearing Matters Australia is a voluntary non profit organisation providing information and other services to promote the well being of people with hearing loss. Hearing Matters Australia also organises the supply of reconditioned behind the ear hearing aids for people with low incomes.

HEARINGLife is accredited to provide subsidised hearing services, including a hearing test and basic digital hearing aids, free of charge, to pensioners and veterans under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. HearingLife has 160 clinic locations throughout Australia. Their hearing aid batteries and products can be purchased online.

The Lions Clubs of Australia have established the Lions Hearing Dogs Program, to provide people who are deaf or are hearing impaired with dogs trained to alert them to sounds inside the home.
