Short Description

Four wheel drive electric wheelchair with high torque electric motors and tyres which are designed to negotiate a variety of terrain. Available as standard with 36 amp batteries, however 55 amp are optional. It has a contoured seat with height adjustable armrests. Power seat tilt and recline are options operated via the controls.

More Details

. Traverses rough and soft terrain, and water.
. Transfers may be difficult due to the bulk of the base.
. Large size with less manoeuvrability compared with other electric
wheelchairs.

Wheels :
. 4 black pneumatic low pressure knobby tyres which are suitable for
rougher outdoor use.
. Optional are 4 grey wheels which are 320mm diameter by 90mm wide. Suitable for outdoor use but not as much grip as above. Makes the extreme narrower.

Seat:
. Padded, contoured seat
. Standard seat has winding manual recline mechanism
. Customised seating with additional supports is available

Footrest :
. Standard is a fixed one piece footplate
. Optional flip up one piece footplate which is height adjustable

. Dynamic DX series, allowing various functions to be controlled from the joystick. E.g. seat tilt-in-space
. Various control options include joystick, T-bar, chin, mouth and more
. Joystick can have optional drop mechanism to assist approach tables
