Short Description

Oxford has a range of slings for mobile hoists. They are made from
polyester or net. Some are padded and have additional head / spinal
support.

Models

Quickfit Deluxe:
* Suits approximately 95% of clients
* Available in polyester, polyester padded or net (for bathing). Can also be fleece lined

To use:
* Fit sling around person and attach the shoulder straps to the spreader bar
* To keep legs apart:. The straps on each leg section are looped through each other and the longer strap is attached to the spreader bar
* To hold legs together: Do as above but cross the longer straps over each other before attaching them to the spreader bar

Access Sling:
* Designed specifically to facilitate the toiletting process
* Suits approximately 25% of clients
* Made from polyester
* Separate head support is not available in Australia
To use:
* Fit chest straps. Attach shoulder straps to spreader bar
* Wrap leg sections around thigh and attach strap to spreader bar
* To hold legs together: Cross straps over before attaching to spreader bar

Quickfit Sling:
* A basic general purpose sling for which side suspenders are recommended

Long Seat Sling:
* Designed as an amputee sling or for a person who has to remain in a sling for an extended period eg bed making or bathing
* Available with or without commode aperture and separate head support and can be fleece lined for additional comfort
* The client has to be rolled onto the sling

Padded Deluxe GP Sling with Head and Spinal Support:
* A padded divided leg sling made from a polyester mix
* It features additional padding down the back section for spinal support

Standaid Transfer Sling:
* A padded polyester divided leg sling with an additional high density foam band around the upper border to provide underarm arm support when being lifted in the Standaid hoist
* Medium and large sizes available

Standaid Standing Sling:
* A padded strap made from high density foam covered with polyester. It is used to lift from under the arms in a Standaid hoist
* One size.

Heavy Duty Quickfit Deluxe Padded:
* A padded divided leg sling rated to 255kg.
