Short Description
This is a multiple use circular device suitable for hearing aid users who have a T Switch. It can be used as a telephone amplifier, a personal communication device or a TV amplifier. The TA80 can be used with an induction plate (in an over- ear hook) and extension cord. It is attached to the ear piece of the telephone handset with an elastic strap.
More Details
*This device ensures that the telephone conversation is sent directly to the hearing aid without any background noise (ie. traffic noise and people talking).
*For use as a television listening device - attach the device to the TV
speaker with some velcro, hang the induction plate over the ear next to the hearing aid and then switch the hearing aid to the T setting. By adjusting the volume on the hearing aid it is possible to listen to the TV at a volume that suits the listener, but does not disturb others in the room.
Suitable only for use with hearing aids that have a T switch
* Powered by a hearing aid battery (low consumption - approx 40 hours)
*Two minutes after the last signal has been received, the amplifier
automatically turns off.
*Monaural and binaural versions are available.
*Portable, small, sturdy, lightweight construction (comes in a small leather purse).
