Thanks to Solve-TAD volunteers, parents with quadriplegia have special cots, prams and change tables to meet their exact needs. Children with disabilities have bath seats, mobility carts and supportive seating to make them comfortable at home and school. Seniors have items to support them at home like shower stands, modified walking frames and adjustable chairs and lounges. TAD also employs a therapy team who work with clients, their carers and our volunteers to design and build the equipment to meet the individual's therapeutic needs.

Solve-TAD Services:
* Make and supply custom designed aids, where commercial equipment is not suitable, utilising the skills of volunteers and our health care and engineering professionals.

* Provide information on aids and technology to people with disabilities, rehabilitation, health, engineering and other professionals, government, and the community.

*Provide information on previous technical solutions and allied technology for people with disabilities.

Custom Designed Equipment:
*Solve-TAD may be approached to either modify an existing item or develop a completely new device for an individual need.

*In Sydney, Solve-TAD's CDE team (consisting of a professional engineer and physiotherapist) will come to the client's home or workplace to assess the nature of the problem, by appointment. There is no charge for this service. If you are in a country area serviced by a local Solve-TAD Branch or Interest Group, the contact person will be the coordinator for that region. Otherwise contact the Sydney office for more information. The assessment team will also visit rural areas to conduct clinics when requested by therapists. Because Solve-TAD is a voluntary organisation, the client pays only for the technical volunteer's out-of-pocket expenses.

*Outside of Sydney Solve-TAD has branches and interest groups in Albury -Wodonga, Broken Hill, Clarence Valley, Central Coast, Central West, Dubbo, Griffith, Hunter, Illawarra, Northern Rivers, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and Wagga.

*TAD organisations exist in all states, ACT and NT.
