The Deafblind Association (NSW) aims to facilitate the inclusion of all people who are deafblind into the community by raising public awareness of their unique disability, promoting the use of communication techniques and improving the services and facilities for people who are deaf - blind.

. The association runs the Hand Over Hand Club which is a social club for people who are deafblind or who have a vision or hearing impairment.
. The club meets on the last Saturday of each month. The club provides interesting outings, information and social interaction for its members.
It is supported by Vision Australia (formerly the Royal Blind Society).
. A newsletter "Rainbow News" is produced each month containing information about upcoming activities and may include relevant articles of interest. It is produced in Braille, Large Print, standard print and computer disk or may be received by email.
