Short Description

A folding bath / shower transfer bench featuring an adjustable height aluminium frame, a sliding plastic seat and back with drainage holes and a side rail. Both the backrest and rail can be positioned on opposite sides. The legs have suction tips. Disassembles for transporting. Available in two models - with or without a swivel seat.

More Details

* The seat and backrest are hollow plastic construction, and both have integrated drainage holes. The seat also has a webbing lap belt with hook and loop fastening which feeds up from below the seat through two holes in the seat. There is a cut out section at each end of the seat for locating a shower hose when not in use. The seat has a textured slip resistant surface
* The frame is round hollow aluminium extrusion with plastic connectors for locating side rails and seat
* The seat slides along two supporting rails and is locked into position at the extreme ends of the frame using a spring loaded plastic catch located under each end of the seat. The seat can be swivelled (on the swivel model) and locked at ninety degree intervals, using a small lever which is located at the front of, and under the seat
* The transfer bench has independent adjustment to each leg to allow two legs to be resting on the floor external to the bath or shower recess and two legs to be resting on the bottom of the bath or shower recess. The legs have slip resistant stoppers at their base. The legs are adjusted using a push pin mechanism
* The backrest and grab rail can be removed and attached to the opposite side of the seat to provide bath or shower access from either side
* The transfer bench can be disassembled for transportation
