Short Description
A modular support system for people requiring a little assistance with standing, transferring or moving in bed. It consists of a vertical pole which fits by jackscrew expansion between a floor and ceiling. To this can be added a horizontal bar, a trapeze handle (triangular hand grip) or a tray.
More Details
SuperPole
. Can be used beside a bed, bath, toilet or chair
. The expanding jackscrew is located at the bottom of the pole. Rubber pads protect the ceiling and floor.
SuperBar
. A pivoting and locking rail. It pivots to move with the user in small steps. A gentle lift unlocks the bar to start it moving. Bar locks in 8 positions.
SuperTrapeze
. For repositioning and sitting up assistance only.
. Suspended by a strap from a horizontal rail attached to the SuperPole.
. Two separate rails arranged similarly to rungs of a ladder so arm strength can be used to "climb up" to a seated position.
. Load capacity 70kg
SuperTray
. Snaps onto pole at any height or angle around the pole
Factors To Consider
The SuperPole System should only be installed between floors and ceilings of solid construction or injury may result. It should not be installed on loose floor coverings, in rooms with radiant ceiling heating, in mobile homes, or with suspended or angled ceilings. Recommended weight limits are 114kg for all models. No more than 70kg should be exerted on trapeze system.
Installation
Follow manufacturer's instructions. Structures at both ends (floor and ceiling) must be solid.
