More Details
. This system is designed for treatment of Stage II or III pressure sores.
STRUCTURE
. It consists of twenty "Cell-in-Cell" style air cells which are covered with vinyl. While the outer cells alternatively inflate and delate, the inner cells remain inflated in a static mode and maintain this inflation in the event of a power failure.
. The alternating cells can also be transferred to a static mode for treatment purposes.
. Eleven cells have micro laser holes that provide low air loss support to keep the surface clean and dry.
. The Pillow function is non alternating with the first two of the three top cells having no air loss to minimise air circulation around the face.
ATTACHMENT
The bottom of the mattress comes with slip resistant mats to prevent any slide movement of the mattress.
PUMP/CONTROLS
. The air pump that attaches to the bed has lights to indicate the pressure status. It also has an audible alarm that sounds when the inner cell pressure falls below 5 mmHg.
. CPR valves allow rapid deflation in an emergency.
. The pump attaches to the mattress with two CPC - Quick Connectors.
. Cycle time is 15 minutes
COVER
The "Zipper-All-Around" envelope cover is water resistant and breathable.
