More Details
System features:
Two remote wireless controls
Numeric key pad for secure keyless entry
Pet proximity sensor with two collar tags
Battery backup ensures service during power cuts
Programmable delay times, sensitivity and opening distance.
The system is activated by pressing a wall mounted or hand held wireless remote or by keying an optional numeric keypad for keyless entry. An optional proximity sensor also provides independent pet access.
It provides hands free control for a person who has difficulty opening doors or for the simple reason that they might have their hands full. It provides for greater energy efficiency by closing doors automatically which would otherwise negate the effects of heating or air conditioning. It can protect young children by providing a safety feature which automatically closes a door to a swimming pool area.
Doormate automatically retracts whenever it encounters an obstruction and an in built self charging battery means it will continue to operate during power failures. It can also be quickly disconnected when manual operation is preferred.
With the installation of a proximity sensor, a tag on a pet's collar can be used to activate the door when the pet comes within a selectable distance of the door. The pet access function can easily be disabled by the flick of a switch, providing the owner with added control over the pet and for security.
Doormate retrofits to most sliding doors.
