Short Description
A mobile, battery powered stand up hoist which brings a person from sitting to a supported standing position. The hoist has attachments for sling loops, with dual positions, depending on height of person to be hoisted. A range of slings is available. Hoist is suitable for domestic and healthcare facility use. Load capacity is 150kg. Also available an an economy model.

More Details
CONSTRUCTION: The hoist is constructed from epoxy powder coated steel tube.
MAST It features a single mast which angles backwards, which supports a single, straight boom.
BOOM The boom has a C shaped end with two attachment points for sling loops on each side, plus padded slip resistant hand grips for the user.
BASE The base features legs with polyurethane coating and a plastic cowl over the rear of the hoist where the mast joins to the base.
CASTORS are swivel style. Dual 75mm diameter castors on the front and 125mm castors on the rear with step on brakes.
FOOTPLATE The rectangular shaped footplate has a black rubber slip resistant upper surface, with a raised edge on both sides.
KNEE PAD The knee pad is padded and vinyl upholstered and has lateral supports to each side.
SLINGS are available as a Seating Sling (model KH400SS) which is designed to enable the user to be lifted by the stand up hoist, whilst not weight bearing. Plus a range of Transfer slings (models KH400SF and KH400SFB), which are a band style sling designed to be placed around the user whilst in a chair for transferring, where the user can weight bear. Slings are purchased separately.

CONTROLS are hand held on an extendable cord. The control features soft touch push button switches for dual speed raise and lower, and single speed leg opening and closing. Symbols on the control depict direction (up and down arrows for raise /lower; legs open / closed) and speed of travel (a hare and a tortoise). The hand held control hooks onto the push handle when not in use.
Raise and lower functions are battery powered, dual speed, activated by hand held control on an extendable cord. Leg opening and closing (gating) are also battery powered.
POWER SOURCE The LINAK battery is mounted on the mast of the hoist. There is an audible low battery warning alarm and light indication for battery charge level.
BATTERY The battery pack is located on the top of the mast below the two angled push handles.
BATTERY RECHARGING is achieved by lifting the battery off the mast with the handle, placing it in the separate battery charger and plugging the charger into a mains power point.
SAFETY FEATURES in the form of an emergency stop button and emergency lowering function and audible low battery warning alarm.
