Short Description
This electrically operated single bed for adults features a side to side turning function to enable weight transfer. An integrated safety cradle consists of three curved supporting straps which cradle the mattress and user. Trendelenburg 1(forward tilt), trendelenburg 2 (reverse tilt), height adjustment, knee break, leg raise and backrest angle adjustment are included. The bed is placed on a locking four castor base.

Frame
Square tubular framework.
Headboard / Footboard
*Both the headboard and footboard are standardly included.
*They clamp onto the bed frame and are both removable.
*The handset control can be hooked over the headboard.
Adjustment and Controls
*Two handsets are provided. One handset operates the standard bed adjustments which includes backrest raise and lower, knee break, leg raise, height adjustment and trendelenburg. This control features a white face with push buttons with picture symbols for each function. The other handset operates the safety cradle and the turning function. It has a black face with numbered touch buttons.
*The turning function will not operate until the safety cradle is raised into position.
*Programmable turning functions are available.
*The first setting can provide one turning motion every six minutes. Ten turning motions complete a full turning cycle. This function completes a full turn cycle in two hours.
*The second setting provides a slower cycle providing one turning motion every twelve minutes. This function completes a full turn cycle in two hours.
*The side tilt will go up to a maximum of 30 degrees.
Mattress
*This bed can be provided with an Ultimate MacMed foam mattress. It consists of three layers of foam and features a vapour permeable cover.
*The bed is not designed to be used in combination with air filled alternating mattresses.
Castors
The four castors all feature a foot pedal brake. Each end of the lever is colour coded red or green to ascertain when the castor is locked or unlocked.
Bed Rails
*A fold down rail is featured on each side three quarters the length of the bed.
*A push button mechanism releases the rail to fold. When lifted up it automatically locks back into place.
The handset controls can be hooked over the safety rail.

*CPR backrest release.

*Linak motors with 24 volt operation are used.
*Battery backup is featured.

Note:
- legrest raise (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated)
- Knee break (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of bed remains low)
- Trendelenburg Tilt allows the entire bed to tilt so a person's feet can be higher than their head. Reverse Trendelenburg tilts the bed in the opposite direction.
