The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is a national charity in the United Kingdom. It provides free, impartial advice about all types of equipment to older people and people with special needs, their carers and families. It assists members of the public and healthcare professionals who need advice.

. download a free Factsheet
. find out who can supply the different types of equipment (in the UK)
. carry out a self assessment using SARA to find out about equipment
. discuss equipment with other users in their Discussion Forums
. if in the UK, see equipment at their Equipment Demonstration Centre in London, one of the largest in the UK
. find out about equipment in Europe by visiting EASTIN, the pan-European database of equipment

. access information on over 14,000 items of equipment and their suppliers by subscribing to the DLF database of equipment, DLF Data
The DLF database is available in three formats - DLF Data Online, The Hamilton Directory (DLF Data in Print) and DLF Data on CD-ROM.
. obtain useful tips and advice through our free email newsletter for healthcare professionals, DLF Digest
If in London:
. continue their professional development with one of the DLF's hands on training courses
