Short Description
MagicGrip is a chemical treatment that improves the slip resistance of hard mineral floor materials. It cannot scrape off or chip, and it does not require regular re application. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in workplaces, public areas or domestic locations. Suitable for ceramic, porcelain and quarry tile, terrazzo, marble, granite and other stone surfaces that become slippery when wet.
Models
MagicGrip specialises in turning almost every pedestrian surface into Australian Standard compliant R10, R11 or R12 (or their equivalent) surfaces.
More Details
*MagicGrip is a process, not a coating so it won't wear off, and there's no discernable change in surface appearance. The process is permanent.
*It is invisible and virtually maintenance free. It is not effected by weather, ultra violet light or cleaning products.
*All floors are tested by a MagicGrip technician prior to treatment to ensure a high quality result.
*Once treated, the floor can be walked on immediately, and is designed to be maintained by normal cleaning methods.
*Suitable for most wet pedestrian situations.
Installation
Application
Professional application is required.
MagicGrip is a three step process
1) Firstly the floor is prepared by cleaning and removing any contaminants from the surface,
2) The area is treated using the MagicGrip solution - time and concentration varies depending on the individual surface being treated, and
3) The area is neutralised, dry mopped or wet vacuumed.
Standards
Specific Australian Standards or other Standard(s) may be applicable for materials, manufacturing processes, or installation of some types of equipment. Compliance with relevant Standards is indicated by written certification that a product has been tested and assessed as compliant with specific Standards. Purchasers are advised to check with the supplier or manufacturer of this item as to its compliance with relevant Standard(s).
MagicGrip achieves the relevant Australian Standards, specifically NS/NZS 4586 and 4663. Slip resistance testing is offered to back that up.
