Short Description
An inflatable mattress overlay made from a special PVC plastic. The four air chambers are arranged in two layers; each chamber has 48 baffles which are arranged in different patterns between top and bottom layers. Precise, restricted "throats" between baffles control the speed of the air movement and give stability. Available in single bed size.
More Details
. Designed to minimise the risk of pressure sores and to increase and prolong comfort.
. Uses air to distribute pressure evenly.
. Air filled overlays have an advantage over traditional fibre filled products in that effectiveness does not reduce over time.
. A seam across the centre allows separate adjustment of inflation for body and legs, and means that the head or foot of the bed can be raised without reducing effectiveness.
. Single layer flaps are incorporated at each end to be tucked under the foot and head of the mattress to hold the overlay firmly in position, particularly when the user is in the sitting position.
. No motor, lightweight and portable.
. The PVC plastic is fire resistant to British Specification.
. It is waterproof and easily cleaned with soap and water.
