More Details
The standard seat comes with adjustable back, pelvic and upper leg seating components to accommodate a number of postural and pelvic positioning and support needs.
Frame
is constructed of heavy duty plastic backrest and base which is adjustable in height and width using a wing nut adjuster to slide up and down the aluminium rods.
Upholstery
is cotton and does not stretch. Available in a range of four colours - pink, blue, grey and orange.
Seat
The seat and back cushions are flat foam and removable. They are upholstered in a washable fluid resistant fabric. There is a separate sacral seat cushion that is removable and secured by a press stud to the side of the seat base.
Backrest
The backrest will tilt back 10 to 25 from the upright for children requiring increased trunk support. It consists of a foam covered cushion with a plastic insert at the back of the cushion to fit in the cut out section of the seat frame. This cushion attached to the backrest frame and seat base by press studs.
Armrests
Cushioned height and angle adjustable full length armrests, which are sculpted to act as elbow supports. These are easily removed to allow transfer. An Allen adjusts the height of the armrest. A recess allows the tray to be fitted and secured by a wing nut underneath the armrest.
Legrests
The legrests can be raised, lowered or elevated. They allow for some abduction of the pelvis
Footplates
Can be positioned in partial dorsiflexion or plantarflexion. They can be raised and lowered on two central poles located below the seat base.
Tray
Cushioned activity tray for feeding, playing and interacting with others by supporting communication devices.
Bases
The System is designed to interface with both powered and non powered mobility bases.
It can be fitted onto the Discovery tilt in space wheelbase or the Kimba buggy frame, or a high low base for indoor use. The Hi-Low base enables the Mygo to be used indoors for play, dining and school work. This base base can be purchased in a choice of a manual gas spring lift or a power lift.
Cleaning Requirements
The chair may be sponged to clean. Avoid the use of bleach based products.
