A rescue sheet for emergency rescue / evacuation of non ambulant patients. It is placed under a mattress and fastened to the corners with strong elastic straps. The bed is made over the sheet.
A rescue sheet for emergency rescue / evacuation of non ambulant patients. It is placed under a mattress and fastened to the corners with strong elastic straps. The bed is made over the sheet.
In the event of a fire or evacuation, take the cross straps out of the pockets and buckle opposite straps together over patient and bed clothes. Pull the straps tight to ensure patient is secure. The mattress and the patient are then lowered onto the floor. The rescue team slides the mattress to safety by pulling the front webbing strap, even down stairs if necessary.
