The seat is a platform with a foam pad under the thighs and another foam pad for the headrest. The headrest is adjustable via hook and loop attachment. A wide chest support belt is fitted using hook and loop fastening and assists to support the user in a seated position. The seat is removable from the frame.
It is designed for the user to sit with their legs extended. The base board has two large suction cups which attach it to the base of the bath.
The backrest has a hinged metal frame with a mesh material cover. The material is removable using four buckles. The backrest can recline via a manually operated mechanism. It is able to lie flat for maximum submersion.
