Short Description

A modification of the Roadstar Daintree Caravan to allow for wheelchair access into and within the caravan. It features a telescopic ramp, level entry shower and lowered fixtures and fittings. The caravan's floor plan is customised to suit the individual's needs.

Method Of Use

Method of Using Ramp
The ramp is stowed vertically over the van's entrance whilst in transit.
After unlocking the ramp by the removal of quick release ball locking pins, it swings open to reveal the 860mm wide door.
The landing then unfolds. The two outward corners are secured with screw-type corner jacks and then the rest of the ramp can be lowered. This is achieved via a 12V electric winch utilising high strength spectra rope.
Once the ramp is parallel with the ground, the user can roll the ramp extension out to its full length
Once the ramp is down, the hand rails need to be fixed.
The ramp rail sits on a clamp at the rear of the van, while the smaller landing rail is stowed inside the ramp assembly.
