Short Description

An electrically operated automatic door opener and closer that adapts to a wide range of door types. Various operating modes include manual effortless opening, push and go and electric strike activation by a manual push button or hand held transmitter. The door can be held permanently open for as long as is required. The door automatically closes after a preset hold open time. It is suitable for inward opening doors only.

Method Of Use

* Manual pushbutton This requires an electric strike to be integrated in the door frame
* Hand held transmitter eg The Dorm RC-T Hand Held with small push buttons
* Electric strike. This can be optionally operated used the manual push button or hand held transmitter. The frame integral electric strike releases the latch and Porteo automatically opens the door

Standard function modes
* Powerless (only manual power is used to open and close the door)
* The user opens the door using the handle. The door opens without using pushing effort. The Porteo then closes the door automatically after the individually preset hold open time.

Push and Go
A push of the door to 3 degrees open and the Porteo automatically opens the door the rest of the way. The door closes automatically after the individually preset hold open time.

PowerMotion
An electric strike is integrated into the door frame. This is activated to release and open the door by either a manual wall mounted pushbutton or a handheld transmitter. The door closes automatically after the individually preset hold open time.

Permanent Open
The door is held open for as long as is required. This mode is activated and deactivated by throwing the switch mounted directly on the unit.
