Frame
* An alloy frame which is heat treated and tempered following welding to increase strength of materials and ultimately decrease weight of the chair or optional titanium
* Available in a range of epoxy coated colours
* Backrest, axle position and height, rake, castors and castor angle plus footrest hangers are all adjustable
Upholstery
* Standard is a water resistant synthetic Dacron upholstery on back and seat
* Slung seat with adjustable sling tension
* Backrest is padded and is tension adjustable
* Optional back upholstery can include carbon fibre backs
Backrest
* Standard is a folding back with a spread bar at chosen height
* Optional backrests can include fix, lift-out, reclining and height adjustable.
Armrests

* Suspension forks (Frog legs) and stainless steel forks are also optional
Camber
* Standard is 0 degrees on the front wheels
* Can be adjustable any angle from 0 - 20 degrees
Brakes
Optional extras in a range of styles including high and low push-on or pull on brakes, and drum hub brakes.
Dismantling or Folding
* Quick release wheels with optional quad axle buttons
* Backrest can fold down or lifts out
* Main frame is a rigid unit that does not fold
* Quick release castors are available
Factors To Consider
Wheelchair Restraints
When transporting a person in a wheelchair in a car or van, both the occupant and the wheelchair require an RTA approved restraint system. The wheelchair and the occupant need to be separately secured to the vehicle itself.
RTA approval is not required for a postural support, such as a harness, that supports the user in the wheelchair but is not part of the vehicle restraint system.
The use of a headrest is not legally required but strongly recommended. Easily detachable, folding headrests which fit a wheelchair with standard push handles are available. Refer to section Wheelchair, Scooter, Cushions, ramps / Postural Supports - Seating System: Restraint+ Head+Back+Seats
